Only because Norm keeps bugging me...

Norm is on my case for neglecting my blog. Funny thing is, that since being back home from Utah, with nothing but time on my hands, I haven't had a spare minute. Apparently I am VERY good at finding projects.
FYI, I am STILL very pregnant. I'm not sure if I'll ever feel fully ready to have this baby though -- in fact I am sort of in denial that I actually have to go through labor at all. I won't go into the gory details but the Doc says there has been "progress" since last week -- which makes me optimistic that this uncomfortable state could soon be over, but at the same time freaks me out that this thing IS actually going to come out at some point :)
On completely different note, I feel like I should go see a bunch of movies, probably daily until Baby Sharp comes. It might be my last chance for a long, long time. You might know that I am strangely attracted to scary movies, even though I should never ever see them because they affect me more than the average person. A couple of my college roomates (Mano and Jess) may recall when seeing "The Grudge" ruined my life for about a month. I bring this up because I am contemplating seeing "The Unborn" -- but leaning towards not seeing it because I cannot even watch the commercials for it. Please let me know what your reviews are...and if you think I can handle it :) I'm also on the fence about spending $8-10 on "4 Christmases", "7 pounds", and "Bride Wars" so reviews on these are also welcome. As for my two cents, go ahead and skip "Marley and Me" -- cute idea, but seriously too long and seriously so much animal-human saliva exchange that it made me a little sick. On a surprising note, I actually give "Yes Man" an A minus -- although the idea is uncomfortably close to the "Liar Liar" plot (guy has to always say yes vs guy always has to tell the truth), I still chuckled frequently and found it rather delightful.
I'm not really sure what's gotten into me this post, just call me Siskel I guess. I honestly didn't sit down to write about movies.

I haven't seen 7 pounds but heard that it was 1) sad, and 2) very good and worthwhile.

Okay Rach, this is my 2 cents on the whole scary movie thing.
Give it up.
No more.
Don't do it.
I won't go too much in detail, because I may just trigger what I'm trying to prevent. Simply, midnight nursing + ghastly ghoulies = constant belief that dead asian girl is just over one shoulder, about to creepy-gargle at you.
Embrace the world of romantic-comedy.

I love that you refer to your progression in pregnany as "gory". You crack me up!

Also, I have to say I rather liked 'Yes Man' as well. Every girl does deserve to go to a ball! My one wish is that I could watch all your desired movies with you. I can think of no one I enjoy watching movies/tv with more! What a delightful laugh you have.

Rach what are you thinking! The Grudge ruined us for a while there! I haven't been brave enouch to go so many scary movies since then, despite how stupid some of them may be! Go see that one (if you dare) and let me know if it's worth it. Also, have you seen previews for the "uninvited?" That is probably one i'm intrigued by but dont' know if I should go...
