America the Beautiful

So we were lucky enough to see the big show over the Hudson again this year. I really looked forward to it and it didn't disappoint! The best part was that we walked about a block to our "seats" and didn't have to fight traffic or find parking. Love it.

I bet these boats had a good show!
I wonder how they did this?

These were the Macy's barges that they launched the fireworks from -- 6 of them!

A lovely show before the show.

An impressive panorama by Norm. (He is sitting next to me, making sure that I cite his work:)

Kaboom! Awesome!

Do you think that he liked it?

Only one year ago! Where did this itty bitty baby go?

wow! that view is only a block away?! NUTS!! Awesome that you got to see the show LIVE! And with that skyline as the backdrop? NICE!!

Since we live outside the city limits, there is no one to regulate fireworks. Consequently, it is QUITE the firework show--at EVERY house on our block. OH my word. It's amazing our house didn't burn down. I woke up with Calvin around 2 and they were still going strong. CRAZY!!

Anyway, now that I have done a blog post on your comment section...

sorry.

I can't believe how big Cohen is! WHAT?! And you guys are doing it! One more year?! Can't wait to hear what's next for you guys!

Give that baby a squeeze from me!
